Today we listen to a mixture of recordings from the 1940s and 50s. Joining us are singers like Lena Horne, Buddy Clark and Doris Day, as well as a duet from Dick Haymes and Helen Forrest. We'll hear instrumental pieces from a number of groups, including ones led by George Shearing and Jonah Jones, and big bands led by Jimmy Dorsey and Glenn Miller.
