Today's selections of songs features recordings from the 1930s through to the 1960s. We celebrate some of the nicest voices of the twentieth century, as well as musicians playing with big bands and smaller groups. Among the artists joining us are Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday and Maxine Sullivan, and we also enjoy hearing both the voice and trumpet of the legendary Chet Baker. Sidney Bechet and friends bring us his composition, "Days Beyond Recall", and we hear Mel Tormé with the classic "Jeepers Creepers". Enjoy this trip back through some wonderful recordings!
