IHTSB Jun 23, 2024 On this week’s show we celebrate the beginning of summer, which started on Thursday June 20 this year. Our recordings include songs about the season, the sun and the month of June. We’ll listen to three versions of George Gershwin’s classic composition “Summertime”, brought to us by Chet Baker, Sidney Bechet and Maxine Sullivan. We enjoy the voices of Vic Damone with “My Sunshine” and Frank Sinatra with his interpretation of the poignant tune “The Things We Did Last Summer”.
