On this week's show we celebrate the beginning of autumn, which will start on Thursday, September 22. 2022 this year. Our recordings include songs about the season, fall weather, the leaves and the month of September. We'll listen to Sidney Bechet, with September Song from 1952 and Maxine Sullivan, with her 1937 recording of "Gone With the Wind. We enjoy two recordings from Ella Fitzgerald as well as the seasonal classic "Autumn Leaves" from Frank Sinatra. Sep 18ome lovely music for a lovely time of year!
