IHTSB Nov 19, 2023 Today we listen to several small jazz groups in recordings from the 1950s. Among the artists featured are some of the great trumpeters of the time: Miles Davis, Roy Eldridge, Bobby Hackett and Clyde Hurley, who is playing in two numbers with the Rampart Street Paraders. We hear too from the legendary Sidney Bechet and Benny Goodman, and conclude with the lovely mellow tones of Johnny Hodges. Artist Year Song Time
