Merry Christmas! Today we celebrate the holiday season with favourite songs from recordings made back in the 1940s and 1950s. We are joined by Bing Crosby, the performer perhaps most associated with this time of year, who brings us some lovely Christmas carols and the Irving Berlin classic, "White Christmas". Buddy Clark takes us to a "Winter Wonderland", and we visit Christmas in Harlem with Louis Armstrong. We hear Mel Tormé with his own composition, the Christmas song, another seasonal classic. And we listen to Doris Day with her beautiful rendition of "Christmas Story" and Frank Sinatra with another lovely version of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas".
